Apostle Dr. Charles E. Perry, Jr.

In 2000, during a time of deep hopelessness, God intervened in Dr. Perry’s life as he prepared to take his own. At that pivotal moment, God revealed a vision for Dr. Perry to establish Word of Restoration Church, with a mission to restore lives through His Word and build a community known as the "City of Restoration." Under Dr. Perry's leadership, this vision has flourished into a 48-acre campus featuring six buildings, totaling 120,000 square feet. Thousands from surrounding communities have found hope and transformation through this life-changing ministry. Dr. Perry often emphasizes that the church's greatest asset is its people and the restoration they experience through God's Word.

Dr. Perry earned a Bachelor of Ministry degree, a Master’s in Christian Leadership from Union Bible Theological Seminary, and a Doctorate of Ministry from Christian Bible Institute and Seminary. He was mentored by Pastor Steve Houpe of Harvest Church International Outreach in Kansas City, Missouri. In May 2019, Dr. Perry entered the Kingdom Bible Institute’s School of the Apostles, completing its requirements and being publicly affirmed as an Apostle on September 22, 2019, by Apostle Dr. Dana Carson of The R.O.C.K. Church International. Today, Dr. Perry serves as the founding Pastor and Visionary of Word of Restoration and leads leadership development across the Body of Christ through T.A.C.C. (The Apostle’s Covering and Connection). Through T.A.C.C., he provides mentorship, training, and spiritual covering for Kingdom leaders seeking a deeper connection with his ministry.

A skilled teacher, Apostle Perry brings scripture to life with an ability to explain its context, relevance, and practical application for daily living. Drawing strength from Isaiah 61:7, he embraces the principle, "When Your Life is Restored, You Shall Have Double," as a cornerstone of his ministry and life.

Apostle Perry has been married to Lady Charlette for over 33 years. They have two children, Belinda (married to Donovan Walker) and Caleb (married to Brandie Perry), and are proud grandparents to five granddaughters—Kennedi, Brelyn, Ciara, Mia, and Brooklyn—and one grandson, Caleb Jr. (Deuce).
